Forney, Texas – Thirteen Pride Football Club players were selected as Offense-Defense All Americans which qualifies them to participate in the 8th Annual Offense-Defense All-American Bowl at the Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando, Florida, on December 30, 2013, through January 5, 2014.
Pride Football Club players Cameron Harris, Sam Vrana, and Willie Thomas attended an Offense-Defense full-contact football camp earlier this year in Houston, Texas. The three players earned their All-American status at the camp in Houston.
In July, Pride Football Club players Devon Rideaux, Jacob Rather, Jaire Moore, Aaron Rideaux, Blake Barron, Josh Sanders, James Marthe, Jack Topping, Kevin Perez, and Ray Yates attended an Offense-Defense full-contact football camp in Duncanville, Texas, and were also selected as All-American players.
Offense-Defense holds football camps all over the country and uses the camps as a selection process to determine All-American players who will have the opportunity to travel to Orlando, Florida, for the All-American Bowl week. At the All-American Bowl week, players are pitted against the best of the best in front of college scouts from across the country and from scouting services Scout, Rivals, and 247 Sports.
According to a press release from Pride Football Club of Forney, with the selection of 13 players from the Pride Football Club, Forney will have the largest representation of any city in the country.
Sam Vrana and Cameron Harris were also selected to represent Team USA in the International Bowl against Team Canada.
