FORNEY, Texas — Construction on a decades-long flooding and drainage issue, that has been plaguing residents and drivers along Farm-to-Market (FM) 740 and adjoining residential side streets, will finally begin Monday, according to Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and city officials.
