Forney, Texas – Mama's Daughter's Diner has officially announced they will be opening a new location in historic downtown Forney in April of 2014.

Forney is a long way from Mama's Daughter's Diner's original location on Irving Boulevard in Dallas, Texas, which opened in 1958 but it is being welcomed to Forney with wide open arms. Since their Facebook announcement 12 hours ago, their Facebook page has already garnered 490 “likes” at the time of reporting.
“We have thoroughly enjoyed Mama's Daughter's every time we ate there in Dallas” said Kristen Buchert, a Forney resident and Forney High School graduate. “Their food is completely authentic home cooking. Good for your soul.”
Mama's Daughter's Diner also has locations serving Lewisville, Irving, another location in Dallas on Royal Lane, and their latest opening in Plano. According to their Facebook page, Mama's Daughter's Diner will be moving into the now vacant Napolis building at 111 East Main Street.
“This is definitely something Forney needs and will embrace with open arms,” said Buchert.
