FORNEY, Texas – Beatles tribute band A Hard Night's Day will be the next band to headline the Simmerin' Summer Sounds free concert series at the Mick Spellman Amphitheater on Thursday night, June 12, 2014.

A Hard Night's Day, a Dallas, Texas, based band, celebrated their 20 year anniversary earlier this month. “[A Hard Night's Day is an] internationally renowned Beatles tribute,” according to the Beatles Fans website. “[They are] personally endorsed by The Beatles first manager Alan Williams.”
Local talent will be showcased at 6:30 p.m. which includes an acoustic show with The Ascenders' Jenny Ayers and Mark Devin of Dallas, Texas. A Hard Night's Day will take the stage at 8 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m.
Concessions will be available for purchase during the show. Picnics and outside food are permitted. Concert-goers may bring blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers 12” by 17” by 12” or smaller.
