On September 4, 2013, Crandall ISD issued a safety alert after a middle school student was approached by a man earlier this morning before school.
According to the alert the student was approached by a white male with a heavy Hispanic accent, tattoos on both arms, dressed in a light blue shirt, and wore a red baseball cap. The man was reportedly driving a black two-door car with scratches on the trunk and dents on the front bumper.
The incident was reported at the corner of First Street and Lewis. The Crandall Police Department was notified and has provided additional patrol units to the area. The Crandall Independent School District will also use CISD personnel for additional security.
