Forney, Texas – The West Mesquite Wranglers made the trip to North Forney High School to play the NFHS Falcons on Tuesday night, September 17, 2013. In a five game series, the Falcons swept the Wranglers in the first three games.
The Falcons blew out the Wranglers with game margins much like the Lady Jackrabbits had against them last week. Game one was quickly ended with the Falcons winning 25-10. The Wranglers put up some resistance in the second game but the Falcons prevailed with a 25-18 win. Game three ended like the first game, 25-10 with a Falcons win.
The Falcons JV and freshman teams also swept the Wranglers in their three game series. Falcons JV won 25-10 and 25-17. Falcons freshman team won 25-14 and 25-6.
Falcon player highlights include Peyton Hedrick with 14 digs and 4 kills, Marilyn Rizzato with 11 kills and 4 digs, Cierra Harris with 9 kills and 3 digs, Taylyn Cantu with 5 digs and 7 kills, and Breanna Powell with 11 digs.
The Lady Falcons will face off against Carrollton Creekview on Friday, September 20, 2013, in Carrollton, Texas. Carrollton Creekview played Forney High School tonight in Carrollton and won 3-1.
