Weather permitted the construction crews working on Pinson Road to begin pouring concrete earlier this week. The crews are pouring concrete on the southbound lanes of Pinson Road and began near Criswell Elementary.
“The nice weather this week has allowed the contractor to make some much anticipated progress,” reads a statement on the City of Forney's Facebook Page. “The pour started at the intersection of FM 740/Ranch Rd and crews progressed to Southlake [Drive] by the end of the day on Tuesday.” The construction crews are expected to reach the Valero gas station near the Pinson Road Bridge by tomorrow, Friday November 15, 2013. The project, which is expected to be complete by May of 2014, will include four undivided lanes, curbs, and underground drainage.
