Forney, Texas – Drivers along Pinson Road/Farm-to-Market (FM) 740 will get a much smoother ride next week as crews prepare to switch the travel lanes on Tuesday or Wednesday.

According to Assistant City Manager Gina Nash, the contractor responsible for switching the lanes of travel will begin making the preparations to reroute traffic. When they are complete, either Tuesday, January 14, 2014, or Wednesday, January 15, 2014, the traffic lanes will be rerouted to the newly constructed lanes of Pinson Road/FM 740.
The project, which is expected to be complete by May of 2014, will include four undivided lanes, curbs, and underground drainage.
