One of the most notable signings today was North Forney High School's Armani Watts to Texas A&M University. Given Watts' verbal committment to A&M in April 2013 while he was a junior, this was not a surprise. Watts made it official this morning with his mother and Head Football Coach Lance Gary by his side.
The students committing to the farthest travel are Forney High School's soccer standouts Aaron Craig and Tristen Putnam. Craig committed to Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, while Putnam committed to Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas – both approximately 360 miles away.
North Forney High School soccer player Austin Lindler committed to Austin College in Sherman, Texas. Lastly, Forney High School's Kiana Hawn committed to track and field at Baylor University and Jordan Yates to volleyball at Mary-Hardin Baylor University in Belton, Texas.
