FORNEY, Texas – The Forney Police Department issued a “crime alert” via social media today in regards to a home burglary in the Trails of Chestnut Meadow neighborhood – the second crime alert via social media in one day.
According to the alert, a home being prepared for sale was burglarized this morning, February 26, 2014, around 10 a.m. Appliances in the home and an entry door were among the items stolen.
It is unclear if the home was occupied at the time of the burglary. A request for additional information from the Forney Police Department was not returned at the time of reporting.
