According to police, Chreene, a Walmart employee, conspired with another individual who is the primary suspect to stage the robbery in an effort to cover up his own previous thefts at the pharmacy. The robbery took place on April 11, 2014, at approximately 8:21 p.m.

The primary suspect, who remains at large, presented a note to a pharmacy employee demanding “a substantial amount of various types of controlled substances and narcotics,” according to a release. The note also indicated the suspect had a handgun.

The primary suspect was identified as a “light skinned male subject” who was wearing a “homemade mask,” a gray sweater, and a beanie. The suspect fled the store but dropped all the narcotics in the store before leaving. Terrell Police, Kaufman County Sheriff's deputies, and a Department of Public Safety helicopter were unable to locate the primary suspect in a subsequent search.

The primary suspect is still at large but has been identified by police.

Chreene was charged with organized retail theft enhanced, a third degree felony, and booked into the Kaufman County Jail with a $10,000 bond. Chreene has since posted bond and been released, according to jail records.
