FORNEY, Texas – 25-year-old Christopher Scott Bickley of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, was arrested by Forney Police Department Tuesday afternoon, May 6, 2014, following the theft of a Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone from the AT&T store located on FM 548 in Forney.

Bickley and a female accomplice were driving a gold Dodge Nitro borrowed from No Limit Motors in Terrell pending its purchase during the offense. The pair traveled to Forney where Bickley was able to steal the phone from the AT&T store at approximately 3:20 p.m. Forney police were contacted and were provided a physical description of the pair. The female was soon located exiting Walmart with a gas can she purchased because the vehicle ran out of gas.
When police questioned the female suspect, she provided information on Bickely who was later located at Starbucks on FM 548. A few minutes earlier, Bickley sold the phone to the Game Stop store on 548 for approximately $100. The phone, valued at $584.99, was recovered by the Forney Police Department.
The vehicle was subsequently returned to No Limit Motors. Bickley, who has previous arrests in South Carolina for theft, is being held in the City of Forney jail where his bond is set at $1,500 on charges of theft of property.
