FORNEY, Texas – A Dallas man was arrested at the Forney Walgreens on Saturday afternoon when an employee notified Forney police he may be attempting to pass a forged prescription.

After receiving the call at approximately 1:30 p.m., Forney police arrived on scene and arrested Edward Earl Chambers, 57, of Dallas, Texas. Chambers is currently being held in the Kaufman County jail on charges of forge or alter prescription, forgery, and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information with bonds set at $5,000, $40,000, and $15,000, respectively.
Chambers has a long criminal history in Dallas County including aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon along with many other robbery and theft charges.
