FORNEY, Texas – One of Dallas/Fort Worth's most well-known family diners will be opening in downtown Forney this week.

At 6 a.m., on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, Mama's Daughters' Diner of Forney will open with a “soft opening” as the family's sixth diner location in the metroplex, according to Mama's granddaughter Bonnie Jaggers who also lives in Forney with her family.
The opening of the diner has been one of the most-anticipated restaurant openings since their announcement in February earlier this year. “We want to be open just as bad as y'all want to eat,” said Jaggers.
“Our Facebook Page says it all,” she said. “Within 24 hours, I had more than a thousand likes.” There will be no more waiting on Facebook, instead, the diner expects a waiting line in front of the diner on opening day.
“I think people are also excited to have something on this side of the railroad tracks again,” said Jaggers.
The diner will be open daily at 111 East Main Street, the former home of Napoli's Italian Restaurant, which has been completely renovated – inside and out.

Monday: 6 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Tue. - Sat.: 6 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
