FORNEY, Texas – The Forney Police Department is seeking the public's help identifying a male suspect in the armed robbery of Schlotzsky's Deli yesterday.

Today, the Forney Police Department released the surveillance video of the black male suspect approaching the Schlotzsky's Deli counter, seemingly placing an order in an attempt to get the register open, and then pulling a large black revolver from his pants ordering the clerk to leave the register open.
The suspect then walks around to the back of the counter and pulls the register's till and money. According to the Forney Police Department, the suspect then flees on foot west through the parking lot of Christina's Mexican Restaurant, Euphoria Salon, and Tokyo Harbor were he is believed to have gotten into an older model black passenger car.
Authorities believe the suspect then fled westbound on U.S. Highway 80.
