Justin and his wife, Gabrielle, applied for the home on the Military Warriors Support Foundation’s (MWSF) website. To their surprise, they qualified. The MWSF partnered with Wells Fargo to offer the home to the Lynns.
Lynn lost his right leg below his knee after being struck by a roadside bomb in Baghdad, Iraq in 2007.
In 2012, the MWSF partnered with Bank of America to provide an injured veteran and his family a home in Forney's Diamond Creek neighborhood. Read more on that story here: http://inforney.com/local-news/item/488-wounded-combat-veteran-presented-with-free-home-in-forneys-diamond-creek-subdivision.
