FORNEY, Texas – No injuries were reported after a rollover accident on U.S. Highway 80 on Saturday afternoon just after 7 p.m.

The accident occurred on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 near the County Road 212/217 exit. A yellow Nissan Xterra overturned and landed upside down in the median – its occupants were able to exit the vehicle unharmed.
A second vehicle involved in the accident was described as being a non-contact vehicle.
The left lane of the highway was temporarily closed while emergency crews and wreckers were on the scene. The Forney Police Department, Forney Fire Department, and an East Texas Medical Center ambulance responded to the scene.
