FORNEY, Texas – A driver was transported to a hospital Monday morning, February 24, 2014, after veering off the road and hitting a tree head-on on Farm-to-Market 740.
The accident occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on the winding stretch of FM 740 between Forney and Seagoville, Texas. The light blue sedan veered off the road traveling southbound and hit a very large tree.
CareFlite was initially contacted by responding ETMC and later canceled. The female driver was transported to an area hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the cause of the accident.
