FORNEY, Texas – Area District 10-4A coaches released their tallies for 1st, 2nd, and Academic All-District teams and North Forney has high hopes in freshman Parrish Price.

Parrish Price was named District 10-4A Newcomer of the Year and helped North Forney finish district play with an 8-6 record and a season record of 14-10. North Forney also saw a brief look at the playoffs with a play-in game against Carrollton Creekview which they lost by 10 points, 50-60.
North Forney has continued their mid-pack standings since their bump to 4A last season when they went 9-5, 19-9, finished 4th in the district, and were seeded against 9-4A district champions Little Elm who knocked them out of the first round of playoffs.
Athletes named to District 10-4A 2nd All-District second team include North Forney's Tyrell Choice, Armani Watts, and Forney's Jajuan Tilley. Honorable mentions include North Forney's JaCorey Jones and Breylon Jordan.
District 10-4A co-MVPs are Newman Smith's Darion Brown and Highland Park's Derek Cahn. The Offensive MVP came out of Carrollton Newman Smith, Deondre Burns. Co-Defensive MVPs were Carrollton Creekview's Destin Ogueri and Mesquite Poteet's Khalil Arnold.
