FORNEY, Texas – Dirt work has begun in the first phase of Eagle Ridge subdivision on Ridgecrest Road. The initial phase of the development consists of 60 lots for future residential construction by Altura Homes.

The neighborhood has an estimated four phases in its current design plans and also has an estimated total of 262 lots. The first phase will have access on Ridgecrest Road, wrap behind the Ridgecrest Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, and backup to the Mustang Place subdivision with the future phases to be developed to the west.
Eventually, Eagle Ridge and Mustang Place will be connected by the proposed Trailhouse Lane which will run along the west side of Mustang Place, behind the Forney Marketplace which houses the Kroger Marketplace, and will connect to the north service road of U.S. Highway 80.
Average lot sizes within Eagle Ridge will be approximately 7,500 square feet with a minimum lot size of 6,820 square feet. The minimum house size is zoned for 1,700 square feet. Eagle Ridge is also required to develop and organize a Homeowners Association.
