Oklahoma!, originally a Broadway production which opened in 1943, tells the story of romantic struggles between cowboy Curly McLain and farm girl Laurey Williams in Oklahoma Territory outside the town of Claremore in 1906. Cowboy Will Parker also has concerns about his engagement to his flirtatious finance, Ado Annie.
“Directors Leah Corcoran and Linda Kelley provide a highly colorful, rip-roarin’ good time of a musical, yet again,” said Musical Theater Booster Club representative Kimberly Kelly. “The hard work the cast, directors, and parents put into these shows is unbelievable.”
Children ages four and under are free, Kindergarteners to 6th grade students are $4, and 7th grade students up to adults are $5.
Characters and their performers:
Aunt Eller: Hannah Kelly
Curly McLain: Tim Wright
Laurey Williams: Sarah Shambaugh
Jud Fry: Luke Riggs
Ado Annie: Maddy Spain
Will Parker: Sam Barnes
Ali Hakim: Gage Wadley
