FORNEY, Texas – Forney Independent School District athletes from Forney High School and North Forney High School signed college letters of intent to continue playing sports at the college level on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

North Forney High School had eight athletes sign letters of intent and they include: Bryce Ford who will play football at McMurry University; Clint Alford who will play baseball at Richland College; Emily Willey who will play basketball at Ranger College; Patrick Ellis who will play football at Texas Lutheran University; Preston Morris who will play baseball at LeTourneau University; Stephanie Willey who will play softball at Ranger College; Taylor Durham who will play football at Bethel College; and Tritavious Jones who will play football at Bethel College.
Forney High School had six signees and they include Cody Gandy who will play football at East Texas Baptist University; Cole Fanselow who will play baseball at Texas Wesleyan University; Kourt Carroll who will play baseball at the University of Texas at Dallas; Megan Murphy who will play volleyball at Eastfield College; Mitch McCullough who will play football at East Texas Baptist University; and Shelby Spenser who will play baseball at Stephen F. Austin.
