MESQUITE, Texas (ionMesquite.com) — Mesquite police on Sunday evening arrested two men suspected in the alleged shooting of a Town East Mall security officer. No charges have been filed against either man so their names have not been released, according Lt. Bill Hedgpeth, Mesquite Police Department spokesman.
MPD officers, according to Hedgpeth, responded to a call of a shooting at a lower level parking lot of the mall about 7:20 p.m. where they found a mall security officer who had been wounded by a gunshot wound to the left forearm.
