FORNEY, Texas – Week 2 of the Simmerin' Summer Sounds free concert series at the Mick Spellman Amphitheater will feature three local up-and-coming country music artists tomorrow night, June 5, 2014, from 6 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Matt Bradshaw of Wills Point, Texas, and Heather Little of Lindale, Texas, will perform together beginning at 6:30 p.m. Clay Thrash of Forney, Texas, will headline the show at 8 p.m.
Singer-songwriter Little is known for her role in co-writing “Gunpowder and Lead” for Miranda Lambert and "Me and Charlie Talking." Little is also credited for several songs on Lambert's new album "Two Rings Shy." Little released her album “Wings Like These” several months ago and was featured during the Proud of East Texas segment on KLTV earlier this year and again in a piece about her life, writing, and raising her kids.

Thrash released his first self-titled album last year with nine self-written songs. He was featured on KTXD yesterday, June 3, 2014, during their Broadcast Music Cafe segment. Thrash has signed with record label company Grange Records and released his first music video for “My Heart” which can be seen below.
Concessions will be available for purchase during the show. Picnics are permitted. Concert-goers may bring blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers 12” by 17” by 12” or smaller.
