FORNEY, Texas – The Forney City Council voted unanimously to re-elect Council member Andy Parker as the Mayor Pro Tem at their June 3, 2014, council meeting.

Parker was first elected Mayor Pro Tem last year on June 18, 2013, and has served on the Forney City Council since 2003 – for more than a decade. His current term expires in 2015.
